A lighter style Pinot with a full, rich color and an aroma that hints of grape, cinnamon and crisp, red spring cherry. Low in tannins, this wine is a soft, velvety addition to any occasion.
The grapes for this pinot noir were picked from the Whale Rock Vineyard located in Paso Robles just off highway 46 on Bethel Road. Whale Rock has over 125 acres of which about 10% are planted in pinot noir. This is a fruit-forward, medium body wine with notes of black and red cherry, raspberry and to a lesser extent currant on the palate.
