This vintage is known for its subtle pepper and smooth, never dry finish. Excellent on its own or paired with red meats and heavier sauces.

2010 Westover Cabernet Sauvignon (Lot 2), Pleasanton Ridge Vineyard

This vintage drinks very good now and is set up to grow in complexity and age quite nicely. The strong point is the great nose. Black currant, blackberry, spice and fruit abound. Substantial tannins and medium body make this a very approachable wine. The heavy tannins equate to a wine with great aging potential. Only 100 cases were produced.
